Dive into the heart of history with a unique invitation back in time. Located on the emblematic site of the Neufbourg railway station and the Abbaye Blanche, this museum offers a total immersion in the daily life of the Mortain area during the Second World War. Through a collection of authentic objects and some twenty scenes reconstructed from period photographs, discover the key events of this period.

Meet 70 mannequins bearing witness to the Occupation, villagers' lives, the local Resistance, and the German counter-attack led by three Panzer divisions during Operation Lüttich. This strategic setback for the Nazi forces, which failed to break the Allied lines, played a key role in the encirclement of the German 7th Army at Falaise.

An unforgettable journey through time, rediscovering the courage, sacrifices and battles that shaped this era.
