Jardin Montebello

Opened in 1872, the Montebello garden owes the horticulture society (founded in 1844) for its existence. Originally reserved to members, it is now opened to public. Thanks to its configuration, the different exotic plants and its small cottage made of brick with exposed beams, this garden is a testimony of the 19th century style.
The city of Cherbourg-Octeville is certified with “4 flowers” since 2004 and the garden is certified as eco-garden since 2013.
