A Japanese garden in the Channel on one hectare!
The first, born in 1996, extends the farmhouse into a vast and pleasant pond, restructured in 2014 to complete the Japanese garden (crane island, turtle island, waterfall, Mount Fuji cave, ...).
Towards the back, to the south, rustic steps embedded in a steep wooded slope provide access to the second garden: the room of choice, a stunning collection of Japanese maples (Acer palmatum) and hydrangeas that Michel Leforestier started in 2003. The sumptuous autumn colours contrast with the Zen of a mineral river enlivened by an impressively flowing torrent and a small pond. A red lacquered bridge exacerbates the oriental aspect of the place.
