Alongside the Mont Saint-Michel Wonder, Coutances cathedral is the most famous monument of Gothic art in Normandy. Erected in the first decades of the 13th century, the current building reuses major sections of the 11th century Roman cathedral, which you will discover during your visit. You will be able to walk through the upper galleries of the nave and choir, the lantern tower, the frameworks, admire the Gothic stained glass windows and follow the various steps of the constructions.
