 Morning

A visit to the D-Day Experience

Located in Carentan-les-Marais,  the site has two museums, a unique immersive attraction, a giant-screen 3D cinema, a memorial dedicated to the airborne troops, and a shop selling military memorabilia. The simulator allows visitors to experience the Normandy landings aboard an authentic C-47 aircraft.

 Afternoon

Guided tour of the D-Day sites

A guided stop at Utah Beach, where the Allies landed on the morning of 6 June 1944. Then a discovery of the remains of the Atlantic Wall with a visit to the Leclerc Monument and the German batteries at Crisbecq.

At the end of the day, a guided tour of the Ecausseville Airship Hangar, a classified historic monument. This reinforced concrete building tells 100 years of history across three wars.
