As a National Circus Center focused on supporting creation, each year La Brèche welcomes around thirty companies in residency (creation and writing). In parallel with this mission, La Brèche also offers shows based on the 4 seasons:
. in autumn > La Nuit du Cirque: contemporary circus on a national and international scale
. in winter > Escapade d?hiver: programming dedicated to shows for young audiences
. spring > SPRING: a major event of the year, this festival showcases the diversity and vitality of circus creation
. in summer > Escapade d?été: La Brèche offers a series of shows created for the public space, in conjunction with the contemporary music festival Les Art?Zimutés
In addition to supporting the creation and presentation of shows, La Brèche invents tailor-made artistic and cultural education projects for schools, as well as in collaboration with more specific structures (prisons, medical-educational institutes, etc.).
