ADN, Art et Design en Normandie

The ADN association supports the Usine Utopik - Relais Culturel Régional project in Tessy-Bocage.

The Usine Utopik is positioned as a platform for research and experimentation, welcoming visual artists and authors in residence. Located in the former horticultural greenhouses of Tessy-Bocage, the regional cultural relay offers a vast working space in a privileged setting, enabling artists to carry out a specific project or pursue personal research. The creative process is presented to the public in the form of an exhibition.

Since its inauguration in 2009, the relais has welcomed over ninety visual artists and some thirty writers. The artists discover a unique working environment, conducive to inspiration and marking a decisive stage in their artistic development.

The Bords de Vire festival was born in 2012 from the desire to create an art and environment trail by creating ephemeral works in situ, scattered along the greenway on the banks of the Vire.
Since 2018, in order to perpetuate this route through the Normandy bocage, the Usine Utopik has chosen to permanently install the sculptures and installations created for the occasion on the towpath. In 2024, five ?uvres joined the nineteen ?uvres installed since 2018 to form a 32 km route between Tessy-Bocage and Saint-Lô.
